Industry delegates received guidance on how to perform testing and adhere to IS/ISO 17088:2021 standards mandated by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The aim of the discussion was to assist industrial firms in implementing responsible plastic production methods while conforming to national environmental regulations.
The session attracted participation from Kinsuk Datta, entrepreneurs from the Saurashtra-Kutch area, officials from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board, departmental representatives, academic specialists, and students - reflecting a broad interest in solutions for sustainable industry practices.
The two-day conference proceeds with various sessions focused on the theme ‘Regional Aspirations, Global Ambitions’, investigating new avenues in innovation, green technology, and industrial progress.
Initiated in 2003 by former Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Vibrant Gujarat has grown into a premier global investment summit aimed at reestablishing Gujarat as an economic powerhouse and a favored investment hub.
After the event's opening on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi toured the extensive exhibition spanning 18,000 square meters. At the ‘Enterprise Excellence Pavilion,’ he acknowledged the contributions from prominent organizations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Essar, Nyara Energy, and Jyoti C.N.C., underscoring their significance in the country’s economic advancement.
The Prime Minister also praised Gujarat’s expanding industrial capacity and technological innovations.
At the ‘Ocean of Opportunities’ Pavilion, which showcased the immense potential of Saurashtra and Kutch’s coastal areas, the Prime Minister demonstrated significant interest.
Presentations by the Gujarat Maritime Board on the blue economy, along with cutting-edge technologies exhibited by stalls like Reliance New Energy, drew considerable attention.
