New Delhi, September 1 (NationPress) Union Minister for Communications and Development of North East Region Jyotiraditya M. Scindia announced on Monday that the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will extend beyond discussions of technologies such as 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, and machine-to-machine communication. It will also serve as a forum to explore the transformative effect of these technologies on the lives of farmers, students, MSMEs, and society as a whole.
During the introduction of the AI-driven mobile application for IMC 2025, slated to occur from October 8 to 11 here, the Union Minister emphasized that the theme for this year is to “innovate and transform,” aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Atma Nirbharta’ and self-sufficiency, aiming to propel India towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Scindia referred to IMC as “a platform of possibilities,” highlighting that the new application will facilitate meaningful connections, collaborations, and outcomes.
“The India Mobile Congress is not merely an event; it stands as a platform of possibilities where we will turn potential into actionable outcomes through connections and collaborations,” Scindia elaborated.
“This forum will not solely focus on 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, and M2M technologies but will also delve into how these advancements can uplift farmers, schoolchildren, MSMEs, and society at large by unveiling new opportunities and hope,” he remarked.
The new application aims to enhance participant engagement by providing live streaming of sessions, AI-driven personalized recommendations via “IMC Suggests,” and seamless scheduling that integrates with personal calendars.
Additionally, the application will foster networking opportunities among delegates, exhibitors, startups, investors, and partners, with startups receiving exclusive chances to connect with mentors and funding sources.
A standout feature of the application is its AI-enhanced “Snippet” tool, which will automatically generate short video clips from key sessions for easy sharing on social media platforms.
The Co-Pilot chatbot will act as a digital assistant, providing swift answers about sessions, speakers, logistics, and nearby amenities.
Moreover, features such as an in-app photo booth, AI-enabled face recognition gallery, live polls, and contests are incorporated to maintain participant engagement.
