According to Alex Katouzian, Group General Manager, Mobile, Compute & XR (MCX) at Qualcomm Technologies, Snapdragon XR platforms have powered over 100 immersive devices worldwide, consistently providing top-tier experiences in mixed reality (MR), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR).
During the presentation, Alex showcased a small language model (SLM) operating entirely on a pair of AI glasses, illustrating the flexibility of Snapdragon platforms to support AI across cloud, local, and on-device solutions.
As part of their vision, Qualcomm is empowering smart glasses being created by partners like Lenskart through Snapdragon chipsets. This initiative represents a determined effort to deliver cutting-edge, AI-driven smart eyewear solutions to Indian consumers.
