Bengaluru, Sep 16 (NationPress) Indus Appstore, India’s premier Android app marketplace, proudly announced that it has achieved the remarkable milestone of 10 crore devices.
The app store’s unique feature of localising content in 12 Indian languages alongside English has been instrumental in its triumph. An impressive 40% of users prefer navigating the app store in their regional languages, with Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Gujarati leading the way.
Its robust presence is particularly notable in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra, with Karnataka and Telangana emerging as significant hubs for users.

Gen-Z, aged 18-27, constitutes 33.7% of the user demographic, and when combined with Gen-Y, aged 27-44, they account for nearly 93.5% of users under 45.
The primary Indus Appstore users in tier 3 regions are predominantly males aged between 28 and 44. Over 70% of users hail from tier 3 areas, showcasing strong penetration in rural and small-city markets.
Indus Appstore also features a broad range of app categories, with social media apps being the most sought after nationwide, closely followed by communication, entertainment, and finance applications.
