Mumbai, Jan 9 (NationPress) — In a significant advancement for the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives, L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited (LTSCT) has officially launched its cellular IoT module business at CES 2026.

This new venture enables OEMs and device manufacturers to swiftly integrate pre-certified 4G modules into smart devices, including energy meters, industrial sensors, and connected vehicles.

This initiative represents a strategic leap for India’s electronics sector, expediting product development while significantly reducing R&D costs for manufacturers, with a focus on both domestic and international markets, as stated by the company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T).

“The demand for IoT connectivity is skyrocketing, and the electronics manufacturing landscape in India is evolving rapidly.
