Microsoft Affirms Partnership with Telangana Initiatives: Satya Nadella

Hyderabad, Dec 30 (NationPress) Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella reaffirmed the company’s commitment to collaborate with the Telangana government on its numerous initiatives during a meeting on Monday.
This meeting included Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, two of his Cabinet members, and senior officials.
The Chief Minister’s Office reported that Nadella praised the Chief Minister’s vision for upgrading skills and enhancing infrastructure, stating that these two factors are essential for positioning Hyderabad among the top 50 cities globally for driving economic development.
During the visit, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan, and Special Secretary to CM Ajith Reddy, met with Satya Nadella.
Microsoft has been one of the pioneer technology firms in Hyderabad, expanding to a workforce of 10,000 over the years. The company has also made significant investments, including a data center capacity of 600 MW in the state.
Chief Minister Reddy expressed gratitude to Nadella for his continuous investments and the expansion of Microsoft’s operations in the region.
He, along with the IT Minister, informed Nadella about the state’s focus on various technology initiatives such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (Gen AI), and cloud technologies, and sought Microsoft’s assistance in establishing a robust ecosystem that would position Hyderabad as a leading global technology hub.
The Chief Minister elaborated on his plans for infrastructure advancements, including the Regional Ring Road, radial roads, Future City, and the establishment of new manufacturing clusters, emphasizing the government’s goal to cultivate a large pool of industry-ready talent through institutions like the Young India Skills University.
The meeting with Nadella took place at his residence in Banjara Hills, where his father-in-law, K. R. Venugopal, a retired IAS officer, greeted the Chief Minister.
