Bhopal, March 30 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presided over a significant ceremony for distributing incentives organized by the MSME Department, announcing the allocation of over Rs 169 crore as support for industries and startups.
During this event, the government also approved the final dividend of Rs 8 crore for the Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam for the fiscal years 2020-2024.
In addition, Rs 16.95 crore was granted as Investment Assistance to 257 industrial units, and Rs 8.6 crore was released as administrative support.
The first tranche of these funds is being disbursed immediately through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Three industrial units received land allotment orders, and one unit was issued an assistance letter under the Chief Minister’s Enterprise Scheme. Each of these four units is set to receive a grant of Rs 5 lakh.
Underlining the achievements of the past year under his administration, the Chief Minister's office revealed that the land allotment procedure has been entirely digitized. While only 500 allotments were completed between 2019 and 2024, the state has successfully processed over 1,100 allotments in the year 2025 alone.
The number of startups in the state has surged to 7,200. Over Rs 3,000 crore has been allocated as Investment Promotion Assistance in the past two years.
Under the 'Mukhyamantri Udyog Kranti Yojana', the state has surpassed its target of 8,000 beneficiaries for this year by reaching 10,473 beneficiaries, achieving an impressive 131 percent of the goal.
The Chief Minister disclosed plans to boost the budget for industrial incentives under the Udyog Kranti Yojana and related initiatives from approximately Rs 8,000 crore last year to a substantial Rs 28,000 crore in the upcoming years.
This significant increase demonstrates the government’s unwavering commitment to accelerating industrial growth.
CM Yadav also proclaimed the forthcoming year as the ‘Year of Farmer Welfare’ and announced that joint agriculture-industry conferences will be convened to enhance food processing units, enabling farmers to secure better prices for their products through local value addition.
The complete backlog of pending subsidies since 2019 has been resolved, and the disbursement of new incentives will continue quarterly without delay, as stated by the Chief Minister.
