The core objectives of NCDC include promoting, enhancing, and developing farmer cooperatives to boost production, productivity, and establish post-harvest facilities.
Additionally, NCDC offers support for the advancement of cooperatives in areas such as processing, storage, cold chain management, and marketing agricultural products, along with supplying seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural essentials.
Beyond agricultural projects, NCDC also backs income-generating cooperatives in various non-farm sectors, including activities for marginalized groups, such as dairy, livestock, handloom, sericulture, poultry, and fisheries.
