New Delhi, March 30 (NationPress) Zerodha Co-founder and CEO Nithin Kamath provided an update on his health status following a mild stroke he experienced last year.

He mentioned that after 14 months since the stroke, his body is "nearly" back to normal, while his mind is still in the process of recovery.

“So, yes, fourteen months post-stroke, my body is almost back to normal, and my mind is at about 85 percent,” he shared on the X social media platform.

“My writing hasn’t improved at all. Perhaps that’s due to insufficient practice. My speech is, well… approximately 85 percent,” added Nithin Kamath.

On February 26 of the previous year, he took to Instagram to reveal that he had suffered a stroke.

“About six weeks ago, I had a mild stroke unexpectedly. The passing of my dad, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking could all be contributing factors,” he wrote.

“I’ve progressed from having a significant droop in my face and being unable to read or write to just a slight droop while being able to read and write more effectively. From being absent-minded to becoming more present-minded. I expect a full recovery within 3 to 6 months,” the Zerodha Co-founder remarked.

He expressed confusion over how someone who leads a healthy lifestyle could experience such a health issue.

“The doctor advised me to recognize when it's time to slow down,” said Kamath, sharing a photo of himself in the hospital.

“Slightly broken, yet still keeping track of my treadmill count,” he added.

Numerous startup leaders extended their wishes for a swift recovery after learning about his mild stroke from his post on X.

In April, Nithin Kamath made his first public appearance. In a subsequent post on X, the entrepreneur shared a photo from the ‘Zero1’ fest where he talked about health and wealth.
