New Delhi, July 16 (NationPress) The much-anticipated launch of Tesla in India has sparked excitement in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, with industry experts on Wednesday declaring it a pivotal moment for the nation’s clean mobility trajectory.

Leaders in the automotive field believe Tesla’s presence will not only enhance consumer options but also transform the entire EV landscape in India.

Nikhil Dhaka, an automotive analyst at Primus Partners, remarked that Tesla’s entry signifies a crucial step in India’s pursuit of sustainable transportation.

“Tesla possesses a compelling brand allure and technological edge. Many consumers might extend their budgets by 20 to 25 percent just for the opportunity to own a Tesla,” Dhaka noted.

The American EV powerhouse has revealed plans to inaugurate a new showroom in Delhi soon.

Additionally, the company has announced its intention to launch four new charging stations in New Delhi.

These facilities will feature 16 Superchargers and 15 Destination Chargers for electric vehicle users, as per its official announcement.

On Tuesday, Tesla unveiled its inaugural ‘Experience Centre’ in Mumbai, where it also showcased its highly sought-after electric SUV, the Model Y, to Indian consumers.
