Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) The renowned Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has unveiled a unique spy film titled Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, produced by his own production house. This film, directed by Vir Das, is set for release on January 16, 2026.

On Wednesday, the film was introduced through a hilarious announcement video featuring both Aamir and Vir Das. The video states: “From 'Kya BANAYA ' to 'KYA BANAYA ' Prepare for a rollercoaster of comedy, action, romance, and espionage in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, hitting theatres on January 16, 2026.

In the video, Aamir humorously critiques the film, questioning Vir about the type of film he has crafted. He exclaims: “Is this really a film? You mentioned it's an action, spy, thriller. Where’s the action?”

Vir responds: “There’s action, there’s fighting in the film,” to which Aamir quips: “A film where you’re the one getting beaten up is considered action? Yes?”

Aamir expresses disappointment, suggesting Vir should have pursued stand-up comedy instead.

When discussing romance, Aamir inquires, and Vir assures him, “There’s a complete love angle.” Aamir retorts: “Is the romance depicted as you getting slapped when you first meet her? That’s romance?”

Aamir also jokingly mentions wanting an item number, stating Vir ended up being the “item girl.”

Aamir declares it a “Flop,” leading Vir to counter with, “Sir, every film has its flops. Remember your Laal Singh Chaddha...” sparking a playful argument between them.

Eventually, the film’s crew enters and praises the film, prompting Aamir to switch his perspective and excitedly remark, “I told him to create a remarkable film. Not just any film, but a great one. What a fantastic film this is!”

Alongside Aamir and Vir, the film also features Mona Singh.
