Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) One of the most reliable filmmakers in the industry today, Aanand L Rai recently traveled to Prayagraj to partake in a holy dip during the Maha Kumbh. The director sought divine blessings before the release of his upcoming romantic saga, "Tere Ishk Mein", featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.
Remarkably, twelve years ago, during the last Maha Kumbh, Aanand L Rai embarked on a similar spiritual quest. Back then, he traveled to Varanasi to receive blessings from the sacred Ganga for his film "Raanjhanaa", starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor. For those unfamiliar, the film was set and filmed in this holy city.
It is worth noting that "Tere Ishk Mein" serves as a spiritual sequel to the universe of "Raanjhanaa", exploring deeper themes of unrequited love and emotional turmoil.
With "Tere Ishk Mein", history appears to be repeating itself. Aanand L Rai, Dhanush, and A.R. Rahman have reunited once more in a quest to craft a cinematic masterpiece. The recently unveiled teasers of the film, showcasing Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, have heightened the anticipation for this upcoming drama.
The initial teaser boldly stated, "Pichli baar to Kundan tha, maan gaya par iss bar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?" (Last time it was Kundan, he accepted it, but how will you stop Shankar this time?). Following this, Dhanush is seen igniting a wall that reads, "From the world of Raanjhanaa".
Kriti Sanon's debut look in the film has also sparked considerable interest. The clip starts with the actress traversing a chaotic, warlike environment, appearing distressed and broken. She douses herself in petrol and brandishes a lighter, preparing to ignite herself.
Written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, "Tere Ishk Mein" is produced by Aanand L Rai alongside Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
This eagerly awaited drama is presented by Gulshan Kumar in association with T-Series and Colour Yellow.
