Mumbai, June 30 (NationPress) Actor Dhanush has officially wrapped up the filming of Aanand L Rai's "Tere Ishk Mein", featuring Kriti Sanon.
He announced this significant milestone on social platforms by posting a picture of two bloodied hands intertwined, captioned, "And it’s a wrap," accompanied by a red heart emoji.
A spiritual continuation from the realm of "Raanjhanaa", this sequel explores profound themes of unreciprocated love, yearning, and emotional turmoil.
"Tere Ishk Mein" marks a reunion of the "Raanjhanaa" trio: director Aanand L Rai, actor Dhanush, and Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman. They last collaborated on the 2021 romantic fantasy "Atrangi Re".
The film has garnered significant attention since its teaser release, which featured Dhanush igniting a wall, accompanied by the tagline, "From the world of Raanjhanaa." In the background, viewers hear, "Pichli baar to Kundan tha, maan gaya, par iss bar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?" (Last time it was Kundan, he accepted it, but how will you stop Shankar this time?).
In contrast, Kriti's initial portrayal as Mukti shows her navigating a chaotic, war-like environment, pouring petrol on herself and wielding a lighter, ready to ignite a fire.
These characters suggest a tumultuous love story between two souls intertwined by fate.
Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow, "Tere Ishk Mein" is co-produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
The screenplay for this eagerly awaited drama has been crafted by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. The film features a score by the legendary A.R. Rahman, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.
"Tere Ishk Mein" is set to premiere worldwide in Hindi and Tamil on November 28 this year.
