Mumbai, April 12 (NationPress) Following Banaras, Aanand L Rai has secured another stunning locale for his eagerly awaited upcoming film, 'Tere Ishk Mein'.
The next phase of shooting for the film, which stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, will unfold in Leh.
Teasing the breathtaking location on social media, Rai posted a picturesque moment from Ladakh and humorously captioned it, “Ye 'Leh' ... hum toh Leh bhi aa gaye. #tereishkmein #recce #lehladakh #beautifulindia.”
The filmmaker shared a photo of himself amidst the stunning landscape, featuring snow-capped mountains, dressed in a puffer jacket, cap, and sunglasses.
After completing the filming in Delhi, the 'Tere Ishk Mein' crew transitioned to Banaras, the spiritual backdrop of 'Raanjhanaa'.
Rai delighted his followers with a behind-the-scenes clip from the Banaras shoot on social media, captioning it, “Lights. Camera. Banaras. Duniya wahi, kahaani nayi… (Same world, new story) @aanandlrai ke andaaz mein... From the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa - #TereIshkMein now filming! [Raanjhanaa, Making of Tere Ishk Mein, Bollywood Movies, Behind The Scenes, Varanasi].”
The video showcased Rai navigating the streets of Banaras, striving to capture every shot in the film with utmost authenticity.
With 'Tere Ishk Mein', Rai isn't merely crafting a love story—he's intertwining emotion with geography. Each setting contributes depth: Delhi for its gritty realism, Banaras for its emotional weight, and Leh for its serene beauty.
While the film draws thematic parallels from 'Raanjhanaa', it is not a sequel, but rather a spiritual successor.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar, in partnership with T-Series and Colour Yellow, the film brings together the talented trio of Aanand L Rai, Dhanush, and A.R. Rahman for yet another cinematic gem.
The screenplay has been crafted by Himanshu Sharma in collaboration with Neeraj Yadav. The project is jointly produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
'Tere Ishk Mein' is expected to hit theaters on November 28, in both Hindi and Tamil.
