Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Actress Aanchal Singh, who plays the role of Purva in the streaming series ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’, expressed that the series has unveiled to her the beauty of contradictions as her character is filled with contrasts.
The latest season of the show was launched recently, and it portrays her character being abducted and fighting to escape from her captors throughout a significant portion of the series.
Reflecting on this, the actress stated, “Working on this series has revealed to me the beauty of contradiction. Purva is a character brimming with contradictions—intimidating yet tender, manipulative yet profoundly emotional. Even after Season 1, she was referred to as a femme fatale in a saree, which turned into an iconic and alluring image. It’s this duality that makes her incredibly captivating.”
For Aanchal, embracing these contradictions in Purva’s persona has also motivated her to accept her own vulnerabilities and fears as an actress.
The series has further solidified Aanchal’s faith in the universal power of storytelling, as she remarked, “When a story is genuine, it resonates across cultures, nations, and languages. We are all linked by emotions, and that’s what renders a story timeless and capable of transcending boundaries.”
