Actor Sanjay Kapoor has opened up about his return as Goldy Sekhon in Ab Hoga Hisaab Season 2, revealing that the upcoming season pushes his character into the most intense and unpredictable territory of the series so far. The show is set to premiere on 3 July on Amazon MX Player, produced by Arré Studio.

Goldy Sekhon's Biggest Challenge

Kapoor described Season 2 as a significant escalation for his character, with trust fracturing and loyalties being put to the test. “Goldy has always been a character full of surprises, and Season 2 takes his journey to a whole new level. As trust begins to crack and loyalties are tested, viewers will see sides of him they’ve never seen before,” he said. What the Trailer Reveals

The trailer, released on Monday, picks up directly from where Season 1 ended. Shaheer Sheikh’s character Bobby Manocha is consumed by a single mission — finding his brother Bunty, played by Avinash Mishra — and is prepared to go to any length to uncover the truth. His search draws him deeper into the orbit of Goldy, a powerful and secretive figure whose world is riddled with danger.

Shaheer described Bobby’s arc in Season 2 as a departure from anything audiences have seen from the character previously. “Bobby’s desperation in Season 2 is unlike anything we’ve seen from him before. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to find Bunty, even if it means stepping into dangerous territory and playing a game he may not be able to control,” he said, noting that the trailer offers only “a glimpse of how far he’s willing to go, and how much he stands to lose along the way.”

Mouni Roy on Her Character’s New Dimensions

Mouni Roy, who also features in the series, said the season uncovers previously unseen layers of her character. “This season explores new dimensions of my character, uncovering emotions, motivations, and complexities that haven’t been seen before. There are plenty of surprises in store,” she said, adding that she was glad audiences would not have to wait long for the follow-up.
