Mumbai, Nov 10 (NationPress) Abhishek Bachchan shared his sorrow over the passing of his makeup artist of 27 years, Ashok Sawant.
Opening his heart, the 'Guru' actor crafted a heartfelt tribute on social media, accompanied by two pictures with his 'Ashok dada', who he regarded as family.
Abhishek took to his official Instagram and expressed, "Ashok dada and I collaborated for more than 27 years. He was responsible for my makeup since my debut film. He wasn’t merely a member of my team; he was family. His elder brother Deepak has been my father’s makeup artist for nearly 50 years. (sic)"
The 'Dhoom' actor shared that the makeup artist had been unwell for a while.
"In the last couple of years, he was ill and couldn’t always be on set with me. Yet, whenever I was shooting, not a single day went by without him checking on me, ensuring his assistant was managing my makeup perfectly.
