Chennai, Dec 15 (NationPress) The producers of the highly anticipated action film, 'Retta Thala', directed by Krish Thirukumaran, have unveiled an exhilarating trailer that has sent fans into a frenzy. The film stars Arun Vijay in a leading role.

On their social media page, BTG Universal, the film's production company, announced, "A storm with two minds. One mission. @arunvijayno1 ’s #RettaThala Trailer Is Live! Mark your calendars for a worldwide release on 25-DEC-25. Produced by @bbobby @BTGUniversal and directed by @kris_thiru1. Featuring music by @SamCSmusic."

The trailer showcases Arun Vijay portraying dual characters. It opens with a voiceover stating, "Life recall. People say a collection of happy memories is a good life. Whether it’s my life or my memories, I was only happy with Andre."

We discover that Andre is the character played by Siddhi Idnani. Andre expresses, "We live only once; we should live life to the fullest." This hints at a romantic link between one of Arun Vijay's characters and Andre.

However, the trailer introduces a twist with Tanya Ravichandran's character declaring, "I will give this blank cheque to whoever kills my husband's murderer." This indicates a revenge subplot, heightened by Hareesh Peradi’s declaration, "From this day on, his days are numbered."

We then hear Arun Vijay asserting, "Death is mocking me, saying, 'I have surrounded you.' It's me versus death. This will be a battle to the end."

The trailer promises a captivating blend of action, romance, revenge, and drama.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Arun Vijay described 'Retta Thala' as a riveting action thriller exploring the complexities of human nature.

He also revealed that he plays two characters: Malpe Upendra and Kali.

Directed by Kris Thirukumaran, the film features a talented cast including Siddhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss in key roles.

With a stellar technical crew, the film’s music is composed by Sam CS, cinematography by Tijo Tomy, editing by Anthony, and art direction by Arunshankar Durai. P.C. Stunts choreographed the high-octane action sequences, while Kiruthika Sekar designed the costumes and Suren R and Bobby Antony choreographed the musical numbers.
