Chennai, Dec 4 (NationPress) Actor Shaam, known for his numerous blockbuster performances in Tamil cinema, has made the leap into direction.

Insider reports indicate that he has helmed an inspiring Indie track titled 'Varum Vetri'. Notably, this song features the vocals of acclaimed Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep.

For over twenty-five years, Shaam has been a significant figure in the Tamil film industry. Not only has he directed the music album 'Varum Vetri', but he has also produced it through his production company, SIR Studios.

Co-starring in the video is actress Neera, whose lively performance enhances the album’s theme of hope and motivation. The song is composed by Amrish, celebrated for his versatile musical skills, while renowned choreographer Sridhar Master has contributed his expertise to the choreography.

The esteemed T-Series label is set to distribute the album globally, significantly boosting its presence in the international music arena.

The visuals have been captured by cinematographer K. A. Sakthivel, with editing done by Lawrence Kishore. The lyrics are penned by Jagan, while V. R. Rajavel oversees the art direction. Stunt coordination is handled by Monster Mukesh and costume styling by Neera.

On the acting side, Shaam recently wrapped up filming for the upcoming action thriller 'The Trainer', directed by P Velmanikkam. This highly anticipated film stars Srikanth alongside Shaam. Inspired by the ‘Kaavalan’ App initiative from the Tamil Nadu police, the film promises to deliver both excitement and social relevance.

Film insiders reveal that 'The Trainer' will showcase Srikanth in a pivotal role as a dog trainer, accompanied by a trained canine named ‘Lee’, who plays a crucial role in the story.

Shaam will portray a police officer, drawing thematic inspiration from the ‘Kaavalan’ App aimed at enhancing women's safety, merging societal importance with compelling action.

Reports suggest that the plot of 'The Trainer' centers around a secretive gang engaged in unlawful activities, led by an acupuncture doctor. The film is expected to be action-packed, featuring at least eight thrilling action sequences designed to captivate audiences.

In addition to Shaam and Srikanth, the cast includes Pujitha Ponnda, Anjana Kirthi, Junior MGR, Vagai Chandrasekar, and Sai Dheena in significant roles.

On the technical side, the film boasts cinematography by Arunmozhi Cholan, music by Karthik Raja, the elder son of renowned composer Ilaiyaraaja, and sharp editing by Niranjan Antony.
