Chennai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Actress Anikha Surendran has shared her astonishment when Malayalam legend Mammootty unexpectedly invited her on stage during the pre-release event of his film 'Kalamkaval' and requested a photograph with her.

The talented actress, who portrayed the daughter of Mammootty in the film 'The Great Father', expressed her joy at the surprise invitation from the star, admitting that she experienced a complete mental breakdown while approaching the stage.

Taking to her Instagram to share a video capturing the heartfelt moment, a visibly emotional Anikha Surendran remarked, "Never in my wildest dreams did I think Mammooka would randomly ask me to come on stage and request a picture!"

She further shared, "...I had a full mental breakdown on the way up to the stage. How is life even real? I don’t know where I'd be if I wasn’t ‘Mammokkede molu' (Mammookka's daughter). Forever grateful."

Anikha also conveyed her well wishes to the entire team of 'Kalamkaval', stating, "Thank you so much for having me and all the best to team Kalamkaval. Excited!"

The video showcases Mammootty, who notices Anikha Surendran in the audience, gently gesturing for her to join him on stage. This clip has since gone viral, captivating the hearts of fans and cinephiles alike.

For those unfamiliar, 'Kalamkaval', directed by Jithin K Jose, features Mammootty alongside Vinayakan and is set to release on December 5. The film has already received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board.

The film has generated significant excitement among fans since the teaser was launched.

The teaser opens with a door being knocked, as a Tamilian queries, "Who are you?" A police officer subsequently asks another, whose identity remains concealed, "Are you the one who's Nath?" This is followed by visuals of both lead actors - Vinayakan, who appears to be a police officer, wears a serious expression, while Mammootty maintains a composed demeanor, observing his surroundings.

'Kalamkaval' completed filming in November last year, with the story and screenplay crafted by Jithin K Jose and Jishnu Sreekumar. It features editing by Praveen Prabhakar and cinematography by Faisal Ali, with music by composer Mujeeb Majeed and action choreography by Action Santhosh.

The film continues to garner media attention as the creators promise a unique portrayal of Mammootty in a role unlike any before.
