Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Actress Ayesha Raza Mishra revealed the cherished experiences she enjoys with her actor husband Kumud Mishra and their son Kabir during dinner time.
She emphasized the significance of late-night chats with Kabir, stressing the need for open communication despite their hectic schedules.
“We occasionally dine together, but as actors, our hectic timetables—and Kabir’s routine—often lead to us eating at various times. I always strive for us to share a meal, but life has its challenges,” Ayesha shared with IANS.
She recounted a memorable night when Kabir approached her at 2 a.m., eager to converse.
“With Kabir, the unique thing is that he often wants to talk to me at the oddest hours, like 2 a.m.… One night, he approached me when I was quite sleepy, saying, ‘Ma, I need to talk to you. I just want to talk.’ For a moment, I thought to delay it until morning. However, I realized he was reaching out. Even if it meant sacrificing my sleep, it was worth it,” she remarked.
This led to a lengthy discussion that lasted until 6:30 a.m., a memory Ayesha cherishes as one of her finest nights.
“We conversed until 6-6:30 in the morning. It was the best night spent with him, since I believe he should always feel comfortable coming to me. Sleep can wait. We often have nights where we don’t sleep due to shooting schedules, and that’s okay,” she stated.
Ayesha underscored the necessity of having an open-door policy for Kabir.
“If he feels the need to reach out, I appreciate that. He can approach his dad for certain matters, while for others, he comes to me. There’s always an open door for him,” she elaborated.
Ayesha is set to appear in the upcoming series “Single Papa,” featuring Manoj Pahwa, Kunal Kemmu, Prajakta, and herself. The show narrates the story of Gaurav Gehlot, a lovable man-child whose emotional maturity is a work in progress.
His sudden choice to adopt a child right after his divorce leaves his family in shock, leading them to consider rebooting him. What ensues is unprecedented chaos as the Gehlots strive to comprehend how a man who still misplaces his socks plans to raise a child.
“Single Papa” will debut on December 12 on Netflix.
