This year, he has appeared in filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon, and Ridley Scott’s international sci-fi series Alien: Earth. He has also completed filming his debut Telugu film, a psychological drama, and is currently on set for Anand L. Rai’s creature drama Tu Ya Main alongside Shanaya Kapoor.
Adarsh expressed to IANS: “2025 feels like a turning point for me, both as an actor and as a storyteller. Superboys of Malegaon was a deeply personal and transformative experience under Reema’s direction and Zoya’s production, celebrating the dreams of small-town individuals and reigniting my passion for cinema.”
He continued to discuss Alien: Earth: “On the other hand, Alien: Earth was a unique experience. The scale, ambition, and the opportunity to collaborate with Ridley Scott and a fantastic international cast was both surreal and rewarding. Delivering two projects of this magnitude in a single year has been incredibly fulfilling,” he noted.
The actor also revealed he has just finished his first-ever Telugu film, which he considers his “mother tongue.” He described it as an exciting learning journey and a step towards reaching a new audience.
On the topic of Tu Ya Main, he shared: “Currently, I’m filming for Anand L. Rai’s Tu Ya Main, which represents yet another dream come true. Anand sir’s storytelling has a unique blend of heart and spectacle, and being part of a project that pushes genre boundaries is exhilarating.”
Adarsh expressed his immense gratitude to the filmmakers who believe in him and to the audiences, both in India and abroad, who continue to support him.
“The variety of these projects across different genres, languages, and scales reminds me of my original love for acting. This year has reinforced that staying true to my craft opens up endless possibilities,” he concluded.
