Mumbai, Nov 26 (NationPress) Actor Adivi Sesh is preparing for a spectacular dance number in his upcoming pan-India action-drama-romance film Dacoit. Renowned for his inclination towards intense plots and action-oriented roles, the actor expressed that engaging in a full-fledged dance sequence was never something he envisioned for himself.
Sesh shared with IANS: “Throughout my career, the audience has witnessed me run, chase, fight, and jump - but dancing? That was never on my radar. My passion has always been for intense stories and action-heavy characters, and honestly, dancing on screen was beyond my imagination.”
The song features Sesh and Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Shaneil Deo, produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, and co-written by Adivi Sesh and Abburi Ravi, the film promises an exciting visual treat.
“However, Dacoit is a project that challenges me in every manner - emotionally, physically, and creatively - and this song represents one of the most significant leaps I've taken as an actor,” he added.
Sesh further mentioned that during the initial discussions about the dance number, he anticipated it would be a brief segment, but Deo had grander ideas in mind.
He remarked: “The vision was to make it grand, stylish, and entirely unexpected. And Mrunal… she infused joy into the entire process. Her confidence, rhythm, and enthusiasm made it incredibly fun. Together, we’ve crafted a track that is fresh, high-energy, and visually captivating.”
“I truly believe fans will be pleasantly surprised - in the best way possible - when they see me dance on the big screen for the first time. This song is not just special because it's my debut in dance, but it also showcases a different essence of Dacoit, revealing a vibrant and romantic side amidst its intense narrative. I am eager for the audience to experience it and, hopefully, join in the dance,” he concluded.
