Mumbai, Nov 19 (NationPress) The talented actor Adivi Sesh recently drew attention at an event in Hyderabad with his striking thick, retro moustache. He revealed that this look is designed specifically for a significant filming schedule of his upcoming project “Dacoit.”

While sharing his enthusiasm about the new appearance, Sesh informed IANS: “This look is crafted for a special schedule we are currently working on for Dacoit. A segment of the film necessitated a dramatic transformation, hence this new style.”

He elaborated, “It’s a thrilling flashback sequence, and I wanted to explore something relatable and engaging. Witnessing the fans’ reactions during a recent appearance was exciting. Luckily, I've only received kind words and intrigued glances.”

Alongside Sesh, the film boasts a stellar cast including Mrunal Thakur, director and actor Anurag Kashyap in a compelling role, as well as Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.

“Dacoit” narrates the journey of a vengeful convict on a quest to confront his former girlfriend who once betrayed him. As he devises a dangerous plot to ensnare her, the narrative unfolds into a gripping tale of love, treachery, and revenge.

Filmed simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu, the story and screenplay are collaboratively penned by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Currently in the post-production phase, Dacoit is set for a grand pan-India debut.

Having established himself as a prominent figure in the industry, Sesh has starred in acclaimed films such as Dongaata, Kshanam, Ami Thumi, Goodachari, Evaru, Major, and HIT: The Second Case.

The actor previously expressed that for him, the film transcends the idea of merely shifting between Hindi and Telugu; it’s about grasping how the same character embodies different nuances across emotional landscapes.

“For me, Dacoit wasn’t just about the language switch; it was about understanding how the character resonates differently in two emotional realms. Hindi feels inherently natural to me, so diction was not the hurdle. The real challenge lay in aligning with the attitude, rhythm, and emotional depth each language demands,” Adivi shared with IANS.

He noted that the Hindi rendition possesses a “gentler, more reserved intensity,” whereas the Telugu version is characterized by a more pronounced physicality and heightened emotional expression.

“As both an actor and co-writer, I had to continuously adapt to ensure that each rendition felt authentic to its audience. Although the storyline remains consistent, the emotional trajectories are so distinct that it genuinely felt like we were crafting two separate films simultaneously,” Sesh remarked.
