Chennai, March 22 (NationPress) The crew of director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy's forthcoming romantic film 'Haiku', starring Aegan, Femina George, and Sridevi Apalla, has successfully wrapped up the shooting of a song in an elaborate set designed specifically for this purpose.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, lead actor Aegan shared, "An extensive set was constructed for this song. The concept revolves around a lodging space where numerous job-seeking bachelors reside. We filmed the song across two days and nights, and it is now complete."
Aegan further mentioned that the team is currently in the third filming schedule, having already completed the first in Idukki and Coimbatore, followed by the second in Chennai.
"We still have three more schedules to finish. So far, we have completed approximately 40 to 45 percent of the film's shooting and are aiming for a September release this year," he stated.
Notably, 'Haiku' has secured its OTT rights with a major platform even before production began.
Insiders have revealed that a 30-day rehearsal was conducted for the cast, led by renowned acting coach Rajesh, who is known for training actors in critically acclaimed films like 'Madharasi' and 'Chittha', prior to filming.
Produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under Vision Cinema House, the film will also feature additional screenplay contributions from Hari Haran Ram, the director of the much-admired Tamil film 'Joe'.
Aegan, known for his role in 'Kozhipannai Chelladurai', is joined by the heroines Femina George and Sridevi Apalla, who have garnered attention for their performances in 'Minnal Murali' and 'Court' respectively.
On the technical side, the film boasts cinematography by Priyesh GuruSwamy and music composed by Vijai Bulganin, recognized for his work in 'Court' and 'Baby'. The film's editing will be handled by Sakthi Pranesh.
