Mumbai, February 18 (NationPress) Actor Aiman Kalia is currently featured in the series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. In a recent conversation, he expressed that both his character and the entire cast are fantastic, and he appreciates the atmosphere on set.
He mentioned, “Approximately 20 to 25 days ago, I received an audition for the role of Yash. Initially, I submitted a self-audition, followed by an in-person audition. I got selected in the second round. The experience has been wonderful up to this point. I genuinely enjoy going to the set, interacting with my co-stars, and portraying my character, whom I personally admire.”
Discussing his portrayal of Yash in the series, Aiman Kalia remarked, “My character, Yash Pradhan, is a 20-year-old with a vibrant and playful spirit—not mischievous or cunning, which is something I greatly appreciate. Although he has a playful demeanor, he also possesses maturity; he understands when to speak, when to listen, and how to ease the tension in serious situations. I relate to aspects of him. While I wasn’t as cheerful at his age, I can definitely connect with his empathy and sensitivity. He has a generous heart and can't bear to see anyone unhappy. He’s a lively, charming character who introduces warmth and positivity into every scenario.”
Aiman Kalia also talked about how he prepared for his role. He shared, “Essentially, I developed Yash's backstory during the initial reading when my directors briefed me about him. From that point, I began maintaining a journal to jot down specific traits of Yash, his characteristics, and personality, which aided me in understanding the role. Once I had that clarity, delivering my lines became more manageable. It wasn't particularly challenging as I was already clear about my character.”
