Mumbai, March 19 (NationPress) On the occasion of her father Krishnaraj’s eighth death anniversary, Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan paid homage to her father, while her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan offered her tributes to her grandfather.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Aishwarya took to Instagram to share several heartfelt images. The first image featured a garlanded photo of her beloved late father.

The following image depicted her daughter Aaradhya bowing her head in respect to her grandfather’s photograph. The next snapshot showcased Aishwarya also bowing her head in reverence.

Aishwarya captioned her post, “Love you eternally dearest darling Daddy-Ajjaaa. Thank you for all your loving blessings always.”

Aishwarya’s father passed away in 2017 in Mumbai after battling a prolonged illness. The former beauty queen is the daughter of Krishnaraj and Brindya Rai, and she has a brother named Aditya Rai.

In her personal life, Aishwarya married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 during a private ceremony at one of Amitabh Bachchan's residences, Prateeksha. The couple welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011.

On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam's critically acclaimed film “Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2,” which was released in 2023. The film starred Vikram, Ravi Mohan, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Jayaram, Prabhu, R.
