Chennai, Oct 2 (NationPress) The highly awaited action film 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam', directed by Boyapeti Sreenu and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, is set to grace theaters on December 5 this year, as announced by the filmmakers on Thursday.

Renowned for his blockbuster hits, Director Boyapati Sreenu is currently finalizing this high-energy sequel, which is reportedly in the concluding stages of post-production.

Produced on a grand scale by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the project is being showcased by M Tejaswini Nandamuri. Recently, a teaser was unveiled, generating significant excitement and thrilled the fanbase.

With this wave of enthusiasm, the creators have officially revealed the release date. Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is set to debut on the big screen on December 5. Sources indicate that this sequel promises to be a spectacular cinematic experience, with Boyapati Sreenu crafting an even grander narrative.

The release date poster features Balakrishna with long hair and a rugged beard, adorned with an array of sacred beads and jewelry. He brandishes a massive, intricately decorated trident, and his traditional saffron and brown robes amplify the mythological essence. The vibrant snowy backdrop and his commanding pose further enhance the character's intensity and grandeur.

The rousing background score by S Thaman is anticipated to amplify the film’s high-octane scenes, delivering the exhilarating rush fans expect. Balakrishna's fierce, spiritually charged persona has already captivated audiences, enthusiasts, and film lovers alike.

The film stars Samyuktha as the female lead, with Aadhi Pinisetty in a powerful role, and Harshali Malhotra portraying a significant character.

Cinematography is being handled by C. Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae, with Tammiraju overseeing editing and AS Prakash as the art director.
