Mumbai, April 25 (NationPress) Acclaimed singer and composer Akhil Sachdeva expressed that his music embodies a profound sense of truth, love, and humanity, which renders it distinctly recognizable. He is deeply immersed in his art every moment, distinguishing him from others.
When asked about the emotional journey he hopes listeners will embark on years from now when they play his songs, Akhil shared with IANS: “Currently, the song that resonates with many is Hamsafar, released in 2017. Following that, Tera Ban Jaunga, Channa Ve, O Saajna, and all of my singles. I believe that everyone will recognize from afar that this is an Akhil Sachdeva song because of its inherent truth.”
He further added: “A good artist possesses a unique gift. I would describe it as a blessing from a true artist.
This is a genuine expression of love and humanity because that is all that should exist in this world and universe. Ultimately, what matters is the authentic expression of honesty, love, and humility from a true artist.”
The creator of the hit “Mere Liye” mentioned that he has his distinct approach to engaging with his art.
“I don’t know; my lifestyle is not akin to that of other artists. I have my own method of interacting with my art and I can't imagine living without it every moment. I don’t separate from my art for a single instant.”
Akhil’s Bollywood journey commenced when he fortuitously met filmmaker Shashank Khaitan of “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” at a friend's Eid dinner hosted by actress Huma Qureshi. This film is a spiritual continuation of the 2014 hit “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,” featuring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
His subsequent success came with “Tera Ban Jaunga,” featured in the 2019 blockbuster “Kabir Singh,” starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. This romantic drama, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is a remake of Vanga's own Telugu film “Arjun Reddy,” which portrays a doctor who descends into self-destruction when his girlfriend, played by Kiara Advani, weds someone else.
Following this was his third hit, “Mere Liye” from “Broken But Beautiful” season 3, featuring the late star Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee.
The series centers on love, heartbreaks, and an everlasting romance between two individuals. The initial two seasons narrate the tale of Veer and Sameera, portrayed by Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi.
