Mumbai, Aug 2 (NationPress) In an exhilarating announcement for music enthusiasts, global superstar Akon is set to grace the stage in India this November.
Organized by White Fox in collaboration with Percept Live as co-producer, the 'Chammak Challo' artist will captivate audiences in Delhi on November 9.
He will follow this with a performance in Bengaluru on November 14, and then conclude his Indian tour in Mumbai on November 16.
Tickets for Akon's concerts are already in high demand across the nation. HSBC cardholders will enjoy early access starting August 8 at 1 PM, while the general public can secure their tickets from August 10 at 10 PM. These tickets will be sold exclusively on Distrito by Zomato.
Expressing his enthusiasm for returning to India, Akon shared that he has always felt immense love from the country, regarding it as a second home.
"The energy, the culture, the fans… it’s on another level. I’m beyond excited to be back and perform live for y’all. This tour is gonna be something special — let’s make history together!" he remarked, reflecting on his excitement.
From the opening notes of “Right Now (Na Na Na)” to the final chorus of “Don’t Matter,” this tour promises to evoke cherished memories.
Aman Kumar, co-founder of White Fox, stated, “Bringing Akon back to India is a celebration. This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise an extravagant experience that will be remembered for years to come.”
Additionally, Grammy-winning artist Enrique Iglesias will also perform in Mumbai later this year, marking his return to India after a long absence of 13 years.
Recently, several international artists and bands such as Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Maroon 5, Alan Walker, Glass Animals, and Dua Lipa have performed in India.
