Mumbai, Nov 8 (NationPress) Playback artists Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar are gearing up to kick off the highly anticipated live performance of singer-songwriter Akon in Delhi on November 9.

This event signifies his thrilling return to India, with additional shows scheduled in Bengaluru on November 14 and Mumbai on November 16.

Sukriti and Prakriti have earned a reputation for igniting dance floors with chart-toppers like ‘Mafiyaan’, ‘Kehndi Haan Kehndi Naa’, and ‘Sona Lagda’.

Sukriti expressed, “It’s genuinely surreal. As kids, we danced to Akon’s hits like 'Smack That', 'Chammak Challo', and ‘Bananza (Belly Dancer).’ We memorized all of his songs and even jotted down lyrics in our little notebooks while listening on our MP3 players. Performing in front of him, especially in Delhi, our hometown, feels like completing a circle.”

Prakriti added, “Akon’s music shaped a generation. This concert in Delhi isn’t merely a performance; it’s a grand celebration. We are preparing a setlist that will keep the energy soaring and will surprise everyone.”

The concert is brought to life by Studio Majime in collaboration with White Fox and co-produced by Percept Live.
