Mumbai, Feb 16 (NationPress) Actress Shritama Mukherjee married her longtime partner, Akash Sahni, on June 23, 2022, in Mumbai. In a recent interview, the actress shared her thoughts on life after marriage.

She remarked, "Aahhhh it’s been a roller coaster ride, but a super fun one! I mean Akash (my husband) and I go back a long way, nearly 10 years of friendship, dating, and ultimately tying the knot. We’ve felt married in our hearts for quite some time, honestly. We just labeled it 2 years ago. So, life after marriage has been wonderful; in fact, we are having more fun now than before, I believe. We love to travel and indulge in delicious food. We have a dog-daughter, Stella, who was a gift from Akash before our wedding. She’s 8 years old now. They say marriage brings a lot of responsibilities, but for me, it feels the opposite; I have fewer responsibilities because they are shared. Previously, I was living alone in this city, managing everything by myself. Now, we are a family working as a team, making things much easier and better.

She continued, "I feel incredibly blessed to have amazing in-laws who willingly share responsibilities, handle daily chores, and take care of Stella, allowing Akash and me to concentrate on our careers and enjoy life outside the home as well. Regarding my husband, he’s not just a green flag but the greenest forest. I think I simply lucked out there!"

It was Akriti’s concept, and she already had this look in mind. We just had to determine what suited my face and overall personality best."
