Akshay Choubey explained, "Initially, Pyar Ka Professor was titled Wo-manipulation during its development phase, but we wanted a title that would resonate with a larger audience. Thus, we arrived at the current name. Set in Delhi, the show explores contemporary relationships and the chaos that ensues. Central to the plot is a body language coach who also works as a pick-up artist, teaching Delhi men the psychological aspects of seduction. The real excitement unfolds when the expert finds himself in hilariously complex situations. It carries a madcap energy in its presentation—completely unfiltered."
When asked about his previous acclaimed shows like Code M and Rakshak, and what inspired him to venture into a new genre with Pyar Ka Professor, which merges romance, drama, and politics, he responded, "The action genre just kind of materialized. It wasn’t something I planned. My passion for it and my experience working with Anubhav Sinha during his action phase empowered me to take that leap. Deep down, I’ve always aspired to create content rich in drama, romance, and quirky humor. I’ve truly integrated everything I learned from assisting Dibakar Banerjee on Oye Lucky!
