Actor Akshay Oberoi is gearing up to headline 'Love Lottery', a crime-suspense social drama that takes on a subject rarely addressed in mainstream Hindi cinema — the experiences of men who have allegedly suffered due to the misuse of women-centric laws, and the silent pain borne by their families. The film's teaser was unveiled on Tuesday, sparking early conversation about male rights and legal accountability in intimate relationships.

Described as a crime-suspense social drama, 'Love Lottery' weaves together themes of love, trust, marriage, and legal conflict. He was also careful to frame the issue beyond gender. 'The victim is not always just a man — his mother, sister or any other woman close to him can also suffer because of the same situation,' Oberoi added.

Director Arvind Pandey stressed that the film does not seek to assign blame. 'Love Lottery is an attempt to bring a sensitive and rarely discussed subject into the conversation through the language of crime, suspense, and emotion. The film does not intend to target or blame an entire gender. Instead, it raises questions about what happens when laws, relationships, and personal conflicts become intertwined,' he said.

Writer Ankur Khattri echoed the need for a measured approach. 'The subject of Love Lottery is sensitive, and our biggest responsibility was to present it with balance and maturity. The film explores how love, trust, and marriage can sometimes take an unexpected turn,' he noted.

Producer Kuldeep Bhargava 'Tushar', presenting the film under the banner of Cinema Ganj Films, said the team prioritised engaging storytelling alongside social reflection. 'We have tried to tell the story in an engaging way while leaving the audience with questions to think about,' he said.
