Mumbai, June 11 (NationPress) Actor Ali Fazal, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his new film ‘Metro... In Dino’, expressed that witnessing his daughter’s growth is the most profound cinematic experience he will ever have.
In a recent conversation with IANS, Ali shared his thoughts about artistry when asked, “Do you view curiosity and observation as essential currencies for any artist?”
Ali responded, “Absolutely. Having recently become a father, I can confidently say that the most remarkable piece of cinema in my life is my 10-month-old daughter. This experience embodies the very essence of curiosity and observation, and truly represents the ideal blend of unpredictability and cinematic beauty. We need that. The moment we lose our innocence, we begin to drift away, and that’s the challenge.”
In ‘Metro... In Dino’, Ali collaborates with Anurag Basu for the first time, marking his return to the big screen after a brief hiatus. When asked about his favorite Anurag Basu film, he immediately replied, “For me, it’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, without a doubt! The sequences are unique. It had a different fate, but I understand what he was trying to achieve. At least I can sense it. ‘Barfi’ was a heartfelt story, very refreshing and out of the box at that time.”
The film also features an impressive cast, including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Neena Gupta, promising evocative tales intertwined with the fast-paced rhythm of urban life.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., ‘Metro... In Dino’ is set to hit theaters on July 4, 2025.
