To commemorate this significant milestone, Alia Bhatt shared a few sketches of her memorable character from "Gangubai Kathiawadi" on her Instagram stories, captioned with #3YearsOfGangubaiKathiawadi.
The film is a cinematic rendition of S. Hussain Zaidi's book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai, narrating the tale of Gangubai Kathiawadi, a naive girl from Kathiawad who is coerced into prostitution and eventually emerges as a madam and a prominent persona in Bombay's red-light district.
