Mumbai, June 17 (NationPress) Actress Amandeep Sidhu, who portrays Noor in Tu Haii Aashiiki, mentions that she finds it challenging to connect with her character.
Discussing her role, she shares, “Noor is depicted as a simple, outgoing, and mature college student who adores her family. While I resonate with her familial affection and concern for their choices, on a deeper level, I don't see myself in her.”
Amandeep expressed that Noor's journey lacks personal fulfillment.
“In contrast to Noor, I tend to follow my heart. I value my family's input but ultimately, the final decisions are mine. So I would say that Noor and I differ in that aspect. I take charge of my life,” she asserted.
Amandeep considers herself a deeply romantic individual, which makes her appreciate the title of the show.
“The title revolves around love, which resonates with me as a romantic person. Being a Cancerian, I immerse myself in the emotions portrayed in the show. Experiencing the love between Pumma and Noor has been a unique journey for me, as I have never portrayed such scenes before,” she expressed.
“This is the type of full movie romance I've always yearned for; feeling it was an incredible experience,” she continued.
The actress enjoys being part of a project produced by actor-producers Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.
“I believe Sargun and Ravi prioritize character development over plot. They understand that strong characters create a connection with the audience, enhancing the story's impact.”
Amandeep sees the narrative of Tu Haii Aashiiki as a tale of a “man deeply in love with a woman.”
She elaborated: “Pumma’s character is crafted so compellingly that everyone will fall in love with her. Since Pumma loves Noor, audiences will also be drawn to Noor. It’s a beautiful narrative they are creating.”
Regarding audience engagement, she is confident that viewers will appreciate the story for its “simplicity and relatability.”
“When we present straightforward, realistic narratives, audiences tend to enjoy them repeatedly. I personally prefer stories that feel genuine, and I find Dreamiyata’s productions unique and relatable. For instance, in Badal Pe Paon Hai, the scenes were realistic, which resonated with viewers and contributed to Bani’s popularity,” she concluded.
