Mumbai, Jan 8 (NationPress) Ameesha Patel stepped into Bollywood alongside Hrithik Roshan in Rakesh Roshan's 2000 romantic thriller 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'. This blockbuster is set for a re-release in theaters, and the actress believes that the audience's passion for iconic films is the reason behind the revival of her debut drama.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Ameesha Patel expressed, “I am incredibly thankful. The audience's support and love, even after so many years, is overwhelming. Recently, Gadar 1 was brought back to theaters, followed by the success of Gadar 2, and now Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is making its way back to cinemas. It’s the love for such classic films that allows Hrithik and me to grace the 70mm screen once again with our debut. The film remains significant after all these years and continues to receive immense affection from viewers.”

Regarding the re-release, Hrithik Roshan mentioned, “It feels surreal to acknowledge that 25 years have gone by since Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai! This milestone is both humbling and inspiring; to have the chance to pursue my dream of acting every single day for the past two and a half decades is a true gift. Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was my first feature and will always be dear to me. I thank PVR INOX for commemorating this occasion by bringing the film back to the big screen.”

India's largest and most esteemed cinema chain, PVR INOX, has announced that Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai will be re-released in theaters on 10th January this year in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

In addition to Ameesha Patel and Hrithik Roshan, the film featured notable actors such as Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Mohnish Behl, Dalip Tahil, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vrajesh Hirjee in pivotal roles. Produced by Rakesh Roshan, the soundtrack was composed by Rajesh Roshan.
