Mumbai, Sep 6 (NationPress) Actress Ameesha Patel, who rose to fame instantly with her debut film, “Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai”, shared that she marked the occasion of signing the film by toasting with champagne alongside director Rakesh Roshan and co-star Hrithik Roshan.
Ameesha posted two cherished photographs from that unforgettable night on her Instagram account. In the first image, she was captured holding two glasses while Hrithik poured the champagne. The second photo featured Ameesha feeding Rakesh Roshan.
In her heartfelt birthday message to the filmmaker, the 'Gadar' actress wrote, "@rakesh_roshan9 — these pictures were taken at my residence in South Mumbai the day after I signed 'KAHO NAA PYAAR HAIN' and we opened champagne to celebrate before commencing our shooting schedule!! (sic)"
Describing him as a true source of inspiration, Ameesha continued, "From that moment to now, you have been a guiding light with your dedication, discipline, professionalism, organization, and your remarkable resilience in facing all challenges! It has been a privilege to be your discovery! Wishing you the happiest birthday and many bumper years ahead! Your SONIA forever."
Earlier today, Hrithik also extended his wishes to his “best teacher” on his special day, saying, "Happy birthday, papa. Thank you for instilling this resilience within me. When life becomes challenging, it feels like home. Nothing can shake the soldier in me. Over the years, I have also learned to see the opposite, and I know you have too. The discovery of worthiness within, the simplicity of just being, the collapse of external validation."
Hrithik expressed that today, much like his father, he walks in balance, having achieved a state of equanimity.
“Never complete, but no longer empty. I would have never reached this level of equanimity, this wisdom, without first traversing the challenging path. Thank you for creating that soldier in me. For being the best teacher one could hope for. I stand proud (and strong), because I am your son. I love you,” he concluded.
