Anil Kapoor Serenades Anupam Kher with 'Tere ghar ke samne' on His Birthday
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 7 (NationPress) Renowned figures in the Indian film industry, Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher, share a strong friendship, and they also live next to each other.
On Saturday, as Anupam celebrated his birthday, Anil paid tribute by singing the beloved classic 'Tere ghar ke samne ek ghar banaunga', a song originally performed by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi.
In a delightful video shared on his Instagram Stories, Anil attempted to reach out to Anupam, who was on his balcony.
Due to the distance between them, the communication was a bit unclear, but the star of 'Animal' sweetly concluded their interaction by singing the line from the song for his dear friend.
He playfully included a text overlay in the video, humorously highlighting some of the challenges of having a friend as a neighbor.
"Tere ghar ke samne ek ghar banaunga... Kabhi kabhi lagta hain ye line mujhe thodi bhari pad gayi... because the neighbor can land up anytime... without informing... constantly coming and going!" Anil wrote.
However, he later expressed that he wouldn't trade this arrangement for anything else.
The Mr. India star added, "But honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Birthday my dear friend @anupamKher Love you!" (red heart emoji).
In a heartfelt moment last December, Anupam revealed that he had become more reliant on Anil following the loss of their close companion, actor Satish Kaushik.
Wishing the Nayak actor a special birthday, Anupam stated, "After Satish went, I know that I became more dependent on you. And you understand that silently and you have been very kind to me, very silently kind to me. I know that."
He added, "You are a fabulous actor. I always say to you that you have a modern vision and native wisdom as a person. And I am overwhelmed sometimes thinking about the contribution you make in my space, especially at this stage of my life. I love you. You are the bestest."
