Mumbai, July 15 (NationPress) Actor Ankit Raizada, known for his portrayal of Aman Singh Rajput in the TV series “Advocate Anjali Awasthi”, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to receive divine blessings during the auspicious month of Shravan.

He expressed, "India is rich with beautiful and serene Shiva shrines, including the ancient Jyotirlingas."

The actor feels fortunate to have the chance to worship at both the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Mahakaleshwar Temple.

"These temples are among Lord Shiva's twelve Jyotirlingas," he emphasized.

"This year was particularly special as I had the divine chance to visit both Kashi Vishwanath and Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain during Sawan. Being at these sacred jyotirlingas in the month dedicated to Mahadev felt like a blessing, almost as if Bholenath himself summoned me there," Ankit shared.

The holy month of Shravan commenced on July 11 and will continue until August 9. Ankit mentioned that this time is profoundly spiritual for him.

He added, "The sacred month has finally arrived, and for our family of Shiv Bhakts, it has always held deep spiritual significance. Yet, the core of our devotion has always been my mother."

He continued, "Every year, she observes the Solah Somvar Vrat — 16 Mondays of fasting, prayer, and quiet strength. Her unwavering faith in Lord Shiva has been a lifelong inspiration for me."

"For us, Sawan is more than just a month; it reminds us of our source of strength, the power of a mother’s prayers, and the grace of Mahadev that silently watches over and guides us," he added.
