Mumbai, Nov 16 (NationPress) Actress Ankita Lokhande extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Shweta Singh, the sister of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

In her Instagram Stories, Ankita described Shweta as the "most beautiful woman and an amazing soul".

She wrote, "Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman and an amazing soul (red heart emoji) Love u Shweta di (red heart emoji) @shwetasinghkirti (sic)."

For those unfamiliar, Ankita and Sushant met while filming their acclaimed show "Pavitra Rishta," where they were the lead pair.

Their on-screen chemistry blossomed into a real-life romance, and they began dating in 2010. However, Sushant announced their separation on social media in 2016.

Tragically, on June 14, 2020, Sushant was found deceased in his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, at just 34 years old. The official autopsy reports indicated that he died from asphyxia due to hanging.

Currently, Ankita is married to businessman Vicky Jain, who recently ventured into production with Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in "Haq".

Recently, Ankita shared a touching note reflecting on her partnership with Vicky during his journey as a producer.

She expressed her appreciation for the blessings that guided them, stating on social media, “The worship of the goddess in our home and the presence of numerous gods has provided us with immense peace and blessings. Vicky and I stand as a united team on the path of this success—the journey of being Vicky's producer is part of that grace (sic).”

Highlighting that peace and tranquility are the greatest riches, she concluded, “The greatest wealth these days is peace and tranquility, and God has granted us that. We thank God for our good health, loving family, and the opportunity to create such beautiful work. Just praying that everyone remains happy and healthy. Hail the mother goddess.”
