Mumbai, Nov 16 (NationPress) Actress Ankita Lokhande extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Shweta Singh, the sister of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
In her Instagram Stories, Ankita described Shweta as the "most beautiful woman and an amazing soul".
She wrote, "Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman and an amazing soul (red heart emoji) Love u Shweta di (red heart emoji) @shwetasinghkirti (sic)."
For those unfamiliar, Ankita and Sushant met while filming their acclaimed show "Pavitra Rishta," where they were the lead pair.
Their on-screen chemistry blossomed into a real-life romance, and they began dating in 2010. However, Sushant announced their separation on social media in 2016.
Tragically, on June 14, 2020, Sushant was found deceased in his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, at just 34 years old. The official autopsy reports indicated that he died from asphyxia due to hanging.
