Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) 'Aashiqui' star Anu Aggarwal recently shared her thoughts about her journey and career in an exclusive chat with IANS.
During the discussion, when asked about her connections with Mahesh Bhatt and her former industry friends, she responded, 'Yes, everyone is still around. As I always say, an old friend is merely a phone call away.'
Regarding the backlash over her recent New York photo, Anu stated, 'Why do we oppose controversy? It's a natural aspect of life. Just like appreciation, controversy is also a significant part of one’s existence. It's perfectly fine; everyone is entitled to their opinions. Often, when someone achieves success too swiftly, jealousy can ensue, leading some to create controversies to undermine you. If you examine Buddha's history, you’ll find he faced similar accusations when he reached enlightenment.'
When asked about young actors she would like to collaborate with, she expressed, 'Indeed, I believe many male and female actors today are performing admirably, but I will reflect more on this as I consider my options.'
Recently, Anu Aggarwal faced criticism online due to a video showcasing her dancing in a short dress, with some social media users deeming her performance and outfit as 'cheap.'
This isn’t the first instance of such scrutiny; previously, the actress had shared glimpses of her daring photoshoot during the Navratri festival, which drew comments from viewers regarding her choice of attire being unsuitable for the occasion.
