She mentioned, “I portray Anupama Bose, the mother of Fatima’s character. Until this point, I have played roles that were quite distant from my own life; however, this one resonated deeply. As the eldest sibling, she exhibits a certain reserve in her personality while also exhibiting warmth towards family. The joint family setup, the connection to Calcutta, an unspoken strength, and being a working woman (as I am also a practicing architect) made this role especially appealing to me.
