Mumbai, Nov 30 (NationPress) Acclaimed actor Anupam Kher, who has been garnering significant acclaim for his latest streaming film ‘Vijay 69’, is of the opinion that every event in life holds value.

On Saturday, the esteemed actor took to his Instagram to share a series of photos showcasing various locations and moments with different individuals.

In a heartfelt caption, he reflected on his 40-year journey in cinema and the numerous challenges he has faced.

He remarked, “Casa Maria, Bandra: Casa Maria on St Paul's Road is my third residence in the city. This was during Saaransh (his debut film in 1984), and I was residing on the first floor.”

He elaborated, “Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, Bandra West: This was the first place I worked after arriving in Mumbai on June 3rd, 1981, for a job at an acting school. I later found out that there was no actual building or school! Classes were held on the beach.”

The actor then reminisced about the renowned Prithvi Theatre in the Juhu area of Mumbai. He shared, “Prithvi Theatre, Juhu: My journey began at Prithvi when I arrived in Mumbai on June 3rd, 1981. This venue hosted Satish Kaushik’s play ‘Us Par Ka Nazara’, an adaptation of Arthur Miller's ‘A View from the Bridge’. My first play with Kirron was Desire Under the Elms, followed by Look Back In Anger, Salgirah, and Kuch bhi ho sakta hai.

He also mentioned, “Kalumal Estate, Juhu: this is where I purchased my first one-bedroom flat, B23 at Kalumal Estate Juhu. Shastri Nagar, Santacruz Linking Road Extension: I lived here between '82 and '83 with four others. We slept on the floor without a fan, and I will always cherish those days. Kherwadi: In 1981, I resided in Bandra East, Kherwadi, with four companions.”

‘Vijay 69’, produced by Yash Raj Films, is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
