Anupam Kher Surprises Friends with Spontaneous Getaway in Thailand

Mumbai, Dec 28 (NationPress) Renowned actor Anupam Kher, recently spotted in the digital film ‘Vijay 69’, is reflecting on his youthful days.

On Saturday, the actor took to his Instagram to share a video featuring himself alongside his childhood companions. He revealed that he whisked his friends away on an unplanned trip to Thailand.

In the caption, he expressed sentiments about enduring friendships that stand the test of time.

He noted, “Me, Vijay Sehgal, Anil Sharma, and Satish Malhotra shared our lives in Shimla. Our bond has lasted for 55 years. All of us are now grandparents! We have supported each other through life's challenges. My brother Raju has naturally become part of our friendship circle. In smaller towns, the friends of an elder brother easily become friends with the younger one.”

He added, “We reside in different cities but keep in touch. Just last week, I surprised them by inviting them on a five-day vacation to #Thailand. Fortunately, everyone’s families were pleased with my spontaneous choice. Here are some snapshots from our trip! These moments are among the happiest of our lives. Truly, 'You won’t live this life again'! Cheers to that! #Childhood”.

Previously, the actor reminisced about his past, stating that every life experience is significant. He shared various pictures on Instagram, showcasing his journey over 40 years in cinema and the obstacles he has faced.

He mentioned, “Casa Maria, Bandra: Casa Maria on St Paul's Road is my third home in the city. This is from the time of Saaransh (his debut film in 1984), where I stayed on the first floor.” He continued, “Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, (Bandra West). The first place I worked when I arrived in Mumbai on June 3rd, 1981, for a position at an acting school. I later found out that there was no building or actual acting school! Classes were held on the beach.”
