In a recent clip, Anupam discussed the significance of second chances, revealing that he was nearly replaced by actor Sanjeev Kumar.
“Greetings, friends! I want to emphasize the importance of second chances; they often outshine the first. Many may not know that life granted me a second chance prior to my film career,” Anupam shared.
Reflecting on his journey, Anupam, who has starred in over 500 films, recounted how he was dismissed from Mahesh Bhatt’s Saaransh just ten days before filming, with Sanjeev Kumar stepping in.
“I was part of Saaransh, and 10 days before shooting, I was let go. Sanjeev Kumar sir was brought on board. I confronted Mr. Mahesh Bhatt, expressing my frustration, ‘You’re making a film about truth. I have been preparing for this role for 6 months. How could you do this?’ I fought hard and cried,” Anupam recounted.
He stated that he was granted a second chance.
The actor added, “TANVI THE GREAT IS BACK IN THEATRES. Second chances matter… as they enable us to experience Courage, Hope, and Inspiration. Witness the revival of #TanviTheGreat - starting September 26 in select theaters!”
