On this poignant anniversary of her passing, the ‘Om Shanti Om’ star conveyed his deep sense of loss through an emotional Instagram post, revealing how he thinks of her every single day. Arjun encouraged his followers to value and show affection towards their parents, referring to them as “the luckiest people alive.”

Accompanied by a heartfelt video, Rampal expressed, “It’s been 7 years today Ma, and I miss you every day. All those who have their parents, go hug them, thank them, love them. You are the luckiest people alive. Life is short, but the love of a parent is unconditional.” The touching footage features Arjun’s treasured memories with his mother, showcasing everything from nostalgic childhood photos to more recent moments, beautifully illustrating their close bond. The ‘Dhaakad’ actor set the emotional tone with Elvis Presley’s lovely song “Home Is Where the Heart Is.”

For context, Arjun Rampal’s mother, Gwen, passed away on October 27, 2018, after battling cancer. Just months before her death, the actor shared a heartfelt video on X, where his mother discussed her fight with breast cancer and the hurdles she faced. He captioned that moving post with, “It’s been a roller coaster ride for my Mom and the whole family. Then my friend @LalitKModi introduced us to the #Champalimaudfoundation eternally grateful to him, #CarloGreco and his wonderful team. Here is our story. I do hope it.”

In the video, Arjun stated, “Cancer is becoming more and more epidemic these days. My mother underwent treatment for it and was cured. But 10 months later, cancer metastasized into her lungs and then, with the help of my friend, we went to the Champalimaud Foundation research center in Lisbon.”

On the professional front, Arjun is preparing for the upcoming release of his thriller “Dhurandhar,” which features Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
