Upon hearing the news of Asha's passing on Sunday morning, Salve expressed her sorrow: "I had been at home for the past eight days, and learning of her death this morning filled me with sadness."
Pushpa Navar, who also worked at Lata Mangeshkar's residence, remarked, "I worked with Lata Didi and lived at her home. After her passing, I ceased working. Asha Didi was incredibly kind."
Mourning Asha Bhosle's death, she told IANS, "I am profoundly saddened by her loss. Words cannot convey my grief. All the sisters were exceptionally kind, treating me like family and showering me with love."
Asha Bhosle's son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed her passing, inviting those who wish to pay their final respects to her Mumbai home in Lower Parel on Monday at 11 a.m.
"My mother Asha Bhosle has passed away today. Tomorrow at 11 a.m., people are welcome to visit her residence to pay their last respects...," he stated.
The final rites for Asha Bhosle are set to occur at Mumbai's Shivaji Park on Monday at 4 p.m.
