Los Angeles, Nov 18 (NationPress) Hollywood actor Austin Butler is actively preparing for an exciting new phase in his life. The ‘Elvis’ star, aged 34, candidly discussed how his career has shaped his personal experiences.
In an interview with ‘People’ magazine, he shared his thoughts on becoming a parent in the future.
Butler mentioned to ‘Vanity Fair’ that he once believed he had to sacrifice everything else in his life to be a “great artist,” stemming from a fear that his own experiences were not “enough.”
Now, the ‘Dune: Part Two’ actor is focused on shifting his perspective, moving past previous mistakes, and eagerly anticipating the future. He expressed that he's preparing himself to eventually be the best husband and father he can be.
He stated, “You get one life, so how can I allow that to hopefully make me a better friend, a better partner, a better husband, one day, and a better father, one day, God willing?”
According to ‘People’, while Butler hasn’t embraced fatherhood yet, he has taken on the fun role of “fun uncle” to fellow Disney alum Ashley Tisdale's 4-year-old daughter, Jupiter.
At the Los Angeles premiere of his film Bikeriders in June 2024, the actor told E! News that he feels like family to the High School Musical star, 40, and her children with husband Christopher French.
“I love being the fun uncle,” he said. “I play with the toys and whatnot, and then I can go home at the end of the day.”
The ‘Eddington’ star praised Tisdale's parenting skills, stating she’s “such a good mom.”
He added, “I feel so honored to be a part of her life and to get to know her children.”
